Bump J Sentenced To 10 Years In Prison
Today Terrence Boykin, also known as Bump J, was sentenced to 10 years in prison. However, as bad as this news sounds, he received the minimum sentence for both charges, 7 years for the gun and 37 months for the bank robbery.By law, these two terms have to be served consecutively, but he does gets credit for the time he's served and will finish out 85% of his sentence. At the end of his sentence he'll be eligible for placement in a halfway house. - FSD

In 2010, Lupe will join a team of celebrities lead by Ethiopian singer/producer Kenna, who will climb Mount Kilimanjaro as a part of the Summit on the Summit project. The celebrity-endorsed charity climb aims to bring light to the fact over a billion people worldwide are forced to live without clean drinking water.

Common's Cousin Killed In Brooklyn Crash
A cousin of the rapper Common died after being knocked off his motorbike in a collision with a bicycle in Fort Greene, Brooklyn, on Friday night, cops said.Ajile Turner, 38, was hit by the bicycle as it turned off Greene Avenue onto Washington Avenue.The cyclist, Julian Miller, 45, who lived on Washington Avenue, also died."Ajile was a good guy," said his friend, DJ JS-1.
